This is an industrial park at is centred on the shoe industry in China. It is home to some 50 factory buildings with major focal structures to bind the community together. Major squares,
business and exposition halls and retail and recreational areas are threaded
through the plan. The building forms are derived firstly from the market areas dictated by the clients research and then by several
overlays which effect setbacks and building profile, area and colour though the site.
This has the effect of creating distinct neighborhoods within the complex
not by establish artifice but by allowing unique conjunctions to occur. The landscape is also a mesh of aesthetic and pragmatic forms with the movement, collection and filtration of water a tangible element on the ground plane.
